## About personalised retirement gifts

Raise a glass to the end of the alarm clock. A personalised glass suits the colleague who loves a toast, and it works just as well for the boss who has earned a proper send-off. Add their name and the year they signed off for good. A slate makes a neat leaving-do present for the office desk or the mantelpiece, and a short message from the team turns it into a memento they'll keep.

Planning for the days ahead? A garden sign is perfect for the new retiree who plans to spend every sunny morning among the roses. Pop on their name or a cheeky line about being 'off duty'. Keepsakes suit the quiet thank-you, from a family member, a friend or a whole team. Pick the one that sounds most like them, add your personal touch and send them into retirement smiling.

## Questions

### What is a good retirement gift for someone who loves gardening?

A personalised garden sign is a lovely pick. Add their name, a favourite saying or a playful 'gone gardening' line, and it greets them every day in the spot they will now have time for.

### What should I put on a retirement gift from colleagues?

Keep it simple: the retiree's name, the year they retire and a short, warm line from the team. A slate or keepsake gives you room for a thank-you everyone can sign off on.

### Which retirement gift suits someone who enjoys a drink?

A personalised glass is the one. Add their name and retirement date, or a light-hearted line about finally clocking off. It is ready for toasts at the leaving do and every celebration afterwards.
