Batteries are included: it runs on 3 x LR44, with a simple on/off switch at the base. The house is 13 cm wide, 10 cm tall and 7.5 cm deep, sized for a mantelpiece or shelf. Line 1 takes 15 characters, line 2 takes 25, and lines 3 and 4 take 30 each. Text appears as entered. It is hand finished, so small imperfections may show.
