Plain letters, numbers and everyday punctuation. We can't print accents, emoji or most symbols, so please use plain letters and numbers. Some gifts are narrower still, and their page says so.

Yes. Your words show in your basket, at checkout and in your order confirmation exactly as the maker will print them, so check names, dates and spelling before you pay. Spotted a mistake after ordering? Email us at once with your order number and we'll do our best to correct it before it's made.

Each product page shows its arrival day before you buy. Same-day dispatch gifts leave the same day when you order by noon, Monday to Friday, and arrive 2 to 3 working days later by Royal Mail Tracked 48.

Yes, on personalised gifts marked "Next day available": choose next day delivery at checkout (£8.95 for their parcel) and order by noon, Monday to Friday, and it arrives the next day by Royal Mail Tracked 24, Saturday included. Same-day dispatch gifts leave the day you order by noon on a weekday and arrive 2 to 3 working days later. Every gift shows its arrival day before you buy.

Each parcel costs what the carrier charges us for it, from £3.95, and your delivery is the sum of your parcels: one each for standard dispatch, same-day dispatch and personalised gifts (£7.95, or £8.95 with next day delivery on gifts marked "Next day available"). Over £60 of gifts, before any discount code, we pay the first £6 of delivery, so one ordinary parcel arrives free; extra parcels and remote areas add a small delivery top-up. Checkout shows every parcel before you pay.

Yes. Add their name and address at checkout. You can also add a free e-card: we email your message to them at 8am on the first day the gift could arrive.

A short message from you (up to 300 characters) that we email to the person you're sending the gift to, on the first day it could arrive. Add it at checkout: you just need their email address.

Most personalised gifts take 1 to 5 working days to make (a few take 7 to 10; each product page shows its own time), then 1 to 2 working days by Royal Mail Tracked 24, so order early for Christmas. We publish the dates on the delivery page as soon as our makers confirm theirs.

Personalised gifts are made to your wording, so they can't be returned for a change of mind, but if one arrives damaged, faulty or not as you typed it we remake or refund it at no cost to you. Unused ready-made gifts can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund.

No. You can check out as a guest. An account lets you see your orders, track them and save gifts for later.

We email you the tracking link when your gift leaves the maker or the warehouse. If you have an account, your orders and their status are there too.

Some of our gifts arrive in their own gift box or bag: the product page shows it under "What's in the box". Add the free e-card so they know who it's from.

Anywhere in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, to a home or work address. Every gift can go to the Isle of Man except those marked same-day dispatch. We don't deliver to Jersey or Guernsey.

By debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
