About this piece
Slate does double duty as a personalised family slate placemat: a cheese board or place mat with 'The', your surname and a two-line message.
Your surname takes up to 15 characters. Message line 1 holds 15 characters and line 2 holds 30. The word 'The' is fixed, the board measures 29.7 x 21.2 x 0.5 cm, and text appears as entered, so type capitals if you want them. Each piece is cut by hand, so texture and smoothness differ, and flaking or uneven corners can appear. Fool's gold speckles may fall within your personalisation.
Anniversary tables and housewarming spreads both suit slate. Serve up a gift with the family name on it: write the surname and message.
A good gift for: weddings, new home, anniversaries, couples.
