About this piece
Slate brings a Highland cow to the dinner table with this personalised Highland cow slate placemat: a hand-cut rectangle with two lines of your text. Use it for meals or as a decorative piece.
Slim at 0.5 cm deep, the placemat is 29.7 cm wide and 21.2 cm high. Line 1 takes up to 30 characters; avoid all capitals, as the font looks best in lowercase. Line 2 takes up to 30 and prints in fixed capitals. Each piece is cut by hand, so texture, cut and smoothness differ, and flaking or uneven corners can appear. Speckles of fool's gold add to the rustic feel and may fall within your personalisation.
Dining tables suit a slate piece with a story. Write your two lines and give a Highland cow placemat for any occasion.
A good gift for: dining tables, highland cow fans, home cooks.
